BRAMPTON, ON, Dec. 4 /CNW/ - The countdown is on! As the last-minute
holiday shopping frenzy approaches, Loblaw Companies Limited is pleased to
remind customers of its extended holiday hours, beginning as early as today
in Ontario and Western Canada, and the 11th in Atlantic Canada. For shoppers
looking to get everything they need for the holidays conveniently under one
roof at any time of day, most Real Canadian Superstore(R) and Loblaw
Superstore(R) locations will be opening 24 hours beginning December 4th in
Ontario and Western Canada. Furthermore, select Atlantic Superstore(R)
locations will be offering 24 hour last-minute convenience to customers
beginning December 22nd until closing on Christmas Eve. In addition, select
Loblaws(R), Loblaw greatfood(TM), Zehrs(R), Zehrs greatfood(TM), Fortinos(R),
Extra Foods, Atlantic Superstore(R) and Dominion store locations have joined
in the holiday spirit and extended their hours to 11:00 PM. Finally, select
Atlantic Superstore and Dominion stores will also extend their hours until
midnight beginning December 11th and some Real Canadian Superstore locations
in Western Canada will be open until midnight beginning December 4th, in
order to take some of the stress out of the holidays.
"Before we know it, there will be a matter of days until our holiday
shopping comes to a halt on Christmas Eve," comments Inge van den Berg,

our extended holiday hours this month, we're doing our best to make holiday
